Unexpected charm in an old firehouse
The unique decor and quirky charm of the firehouse made our stay delightful. The restaurant served delicious food, and the staff was incredibly welcoming.
However, we found the air conditioning struggled to cool the room effectively, which made our sleep less comfortable than we hoped.

The Firehouse Inn offers a unique experience with its charming decor and historical significance. The check-in process at the attached restaurant was smooth, and the staff were welcoming. My room was well-appointed, featuring a small kitchenette, cozy sitting area, and a comfortable queen bed. I especially appreciated the cleanliness and the interesting common areas filled with historical memorabilia from the firehouse.
The bathroom lacks a bathtub and the windows do not fully block street noise.

Had an amazing time with my friends! The unique decor made our stay memorable, and we loved being close to the restaurant downstairs. We took day trips to Montpelier and Waterbury, which were both easy to get to. Remember, there are stairs to climb, but it's worth it for the charm. I’d definitely recommend dining at the restaurant. the food was delicious.
The only downside was that our room lacked a bathtub, which I missed after a long day of exploring. But overall, it didn’t ruin the experience for us.
